3) You guessed it ... practice practice practice

So you might ask exactly how (apart from sticking the skin to moi) do I do all this practice?

Well lately I've taken to stuffing my pet stuffed izzard in a jean cut off (coz he's nice and tubular in shape) and practising that way like so :

And several curses (if izzards could talk) later :

A glut of entries... 1) Personalising my TattyMachines

Yup - here's me making up for lost time as a lot has happened between February till now ofcourse ;) I just haven't had the time to blog it all (or the habit) But here goes :

Firstly I've modded my machines (just coz I soo want to make my mentor turn green with sick! ;-)) - they've all been disneyfied but I have kept one untouched and pretty much un-messed with (It came with the rocker skull).

And here are the others :

Don't you think that cow is just wayyy too cute? Those in the know will recognise my signature moo thing.

Here's where I've set up a Machine ready for use : I find the pyrex tube just helps protect me from myself and the sharp protruding end of an exposed tat. machine :)

Also, the silicone sleeve for my bullet vibe fits perfect on my tattoo grip - heh waddaya know - plus it's real comfy to hold too ;-) (Btw. I never used the sleeve anyway so hey now I know what it's really made for!)

And where are we now...

My Mentor is of course decidedly nuts. He's abandoned the little bit that we started this little adventure on (No that's not marker pen) - in favour of a much larger tat (though my wee bit beginning is still there!)

Now we're embarking on this one and that was my first real colouring on a live body ;-)

Kit.

Well it's been a while since I've posted. I figure you'd not really want to read the boring bits about the repetitive practice practice practice!

I've collected me quite a bit of kit now ... well on my way towards developing a serious gadget fetish. This is how my tattoo box looks now :

First blood...

This is a retrospective entry.

I've been learning about tattoos for a little while now but today my mentor decided the best way for me to actually learn anything worthwhile about tattooing - was to dive straight into it and just do it.

I was gobsmacked and didn't feel anywhere near ready to take a needle to a live human being! Poor guy, the amount of pain he must have put up with! Me being all thumbs ... still it's going to be a really interesting one because over the months we will be developing the tattoo together.

So today I used my first liner and round on a live human being (and it was glorious)
I also used my own machines!
